Dr. Alishia Hepak
As a Pennsylvania native, Dr. Alishia grew up in a rural town outside of Pittsburgh. After graduating from Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, she moved to South Carolina to pursue her love for chiropractic. She received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Sherman College of Chiropractic in 2013 graduating with Magna Cum Laude.
Dr. Alishia grew up riding horses since she was young competing in rodeos throughout western Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and also represented Slippery Rock University as a member of their equestrian team. She also played a variety of sports including soccer, track & field, softball, and volleyball.
Outside the office, Dr. Alishia enjoys weight training, kayaking, hiking, fishing, and attending Pittsburgh sporting events. She has always been passionate about health and natural healing. Her interest in health from a wellness concept grew during the start of her undergraduate studies. When she was 20 years old she crossed paths with a chiropractor who showed her the amazing power of chiropractic and realized from then on she was here to serve people through chiropractic. She was blown away by the fact that chiropractors help facilitate the body’s healing process and function with only the use of their hands without drugs or surgery.
After graduating from Sherman, she practiced in Grove City, PA for 4 years. Dr. Alishia is dedicated to helping optimize the health of families in her community by offering the best and most effective care. She believes that chiropractic care is essential for every person, young and those young at heart, to live with the highest quality of life. Combining her education and various chiropractic techniques, she has the ability to help every person function at their maximum potential by regaining and maintaining the body’s health naturally.
Dr. Alishia holds a special place in her heart for our nation’s veterans, which helped to inspire the name of the office. She is excited to serve and provide chiropractic care to everyone in the Hermitage community.
